Tax Considerations

The Beckham Law Advantage

Spain's Beckham Law offers favourable tax treatment for new residents and qualifying professionals: a flat 24% tax rate on Spanish-source income up to €600,000, with exemptions from wealth and solidarity taxes. This provision is available to Digital Nomad Visa holders for up to six years.

Tax residency is established after 183 days in Spain in any given year. Residents spending less than 183 days annually are generally not considered Spanish tax residents for worldwide income purposes. We recommend consulting a Spanish tax adviser for personalised guidance.
